This award was created to encourage trainees to become more involved in digestive disease research. Eight $500 awards will be presented to trainees who submitted outstanding first authored abstracts that were selected by the AGA for presentation at DDW. The top ranked of the eight selected abstracts will be selected as the Abstract of the Year and the recipient will receive a $1,000 prize.
